So it’s Valentines Day, and I’m spending my night with college work and some wine.
I’ve been incredibly busy the past few months, so much that I haven’t had the time to do that update video. But well, it’ll come around sometime soon I hope?
On Sunday night, me and my friends finally did it. The ‘urban‘ legend of “The Dark Side of the Rainbow” or “The Wizard of Floyd”.
We watched the original (correct me of I’m wrong) late 1930’s film, The Wizard of Oz with the volume down and played Pink Floyds’ “Dark Side of the Moon” on vinyl.
My god. Our minds were mashed together and we couldn’t contain our disbelief or excitement as the tracks eerily just coupled with the scenes in the movie. The uncanny and stupidly amazing synchronism of the two, just…
I completely lost my bollocks, it was an amazing and trippy experience.
If you’re reading this, I highly recommend you do the same. And don’t watch it off of YouTube, do it yourself. It’s unforgettable.
On a personal note, usually I am a just-content kinda guy, but the past few months, I have been becoming overly ecstatic and may have stumbled across a hidden talent of incredulously dramatic and silly voice acting. It’s a little awesome.
